Wildlife You May Spot

Eastern grey kangaroos & red-necked wallabies — usually seen grazing on the lawns in the late afternoon and evenings.

Koalas — occasionally spotted in the eucalypts near the gazebo. Shy creatures — look up slowly.

Birdlife — kookaburras (particularly enthusiastic at dawn), crimson rosellas, king parrots, magpies, willy wagtails, fairy wrens, and the occasional wedge-tailed eagle circling overhead.

Echidnas — sometimes spotted near the walking tracks. Admirable from a distance — and surprisingly pointy.

Please don't feed the wildlife — including the kangaroos and kookaburras. It changes their natural behaviour and ultimately harms them. We've worked hard to keep them wild, not dependent on people.
