Snakes & Native Wildlife

Safety & Emergency

Like most Australian bushland, the property is home to native wildlife — including the occasional eastern brown or red-bellied black snake during the warmer months (generally October to April).

Snakes will almost always move away before you see them if given the chance, so when using the walking tracks it's best to walk steadily, make a little noise, and avoid long grass or wandering off the paths.

If you do spot a snake near your villa, please keep your distance and contact us on 07 4681 2726. Don't attempt to approach, move, or remove it yourself.

Kangaroos and wallabies are regular visitors around the property. Please admire them from a respectful distance, particularly larger males during spring when they can become territorial.
